Fab concealer for the right skin type
This is one of the most high coverage concealers out there for sure. As a woman of colour this is a must have for my hereditary dark circles. However, in the winter when my skin is dry I find myself reaching for other concealers, even if that means sacrificing a bit of coverage. This is because my under eyes look worse with the product clinging to any dry patches. If I’m out all day or working late I also get light to moderate creasing despite setting. It’s also not the most user friendly - the doefoot applicator is absolutely huge and I find myself spending more than time in the mornings making sure I slowly and carefully dot the tiniest amount on to avoid looking like a clown. This will forever be an iconic concealer but I do think Tarte needs to look out for some newer concealers that have come out that have just as high coverage but are also long lasting and hydrating e.g Hourglass vanish concealer (the only thing holding me back is price per ml!)

Tarte Concealer review
As a concealer I can’t really complain , it covered dark circle and spots well enough for the makeup style ( minimal) I wear but it was drying for my skin and clung to some areas more than others even after moisturising and skincare and looked kind of patchy after a few hours wear but that may be down to my application as I’m no professional. Other concealers such as the elf concealer tend to work better on my dry skin .

Hi Caitlin, maybe you can try the Tarte ultra creamy concealer. I really love that one and is not as dry as the original one 😃
