Rouge Matte Lipstick

The Gods of all lipsticks 🌟🌟🌟 This is the most bouji lipstick I have ever owned but mark my words once you use it you will want no other. Not only does it come package absolutely stunning, worth it just to swing the shopping bag on your arm lol but boxed like a item of jewellery and then it has its own little pouch and then you get to the moment when you open something and hear the angels sing 🎶 And see this absolutely stunning beautiful jewel like packaging that holds the most gorgeous lipstick. It’s smooth and creamy and not drying but also matt The staying power is so good and a little goes far and the colour pops on your lips. I absolutely love this lipstick and even when I’ve used it to have it sit on my dressing table like a work of art will be beautiful. This was a treat for my 40th so was a splurge moment but so so worth it and I’m converted.

I bought this after saving up for ages to but it. I was not disappointed. This is a considered purchase but it is worth it. I normally hate Matte lipstick but this one is so different. Firstly the overall presentation and bottle is gorgeous. The ribbon to hang round your neck is lovely, but i would be terrified it fell off and I loose it. The application is so smooth and indulgent. I only used a few spots on my lips ( want it to last ha ha ) but the crème spread really well. Not tacky and sticky. Yes it dried matte but it was silky soft and delicious to wear. I applied at 2pm on Saturday when I was purchasing it ( applied by mua at Selfridges Manchester ) it lasted till 8pm that night. Had a few drinks and a meal and it just started to fade out as I got home. As I said it is a considered purchase but if you want to really treat yourself this is the lippy to go for. Enjoy
