Great value
Slightly oily so go easy on the application. But makes my skin feel amazing! I use this a few times a week and doesn’t need applying every night. A small amount goes a long way. Build up to higher % retinol as it can leave skin feeling sensitive and tingle

Good enough
You know I am a big fun of retinol. I'm not sure if you should cycle it but I have been using it consistently for more than a year now. And I've tested multiple products as well. I bought the oily formula first which is this one in squalane and I tried the other version which is an emulsion. The retinol as retinol is great and you can really see the effects on your skin even from a very young age. The elasticity is noticeably improved. But it has this smell. Why does it smell so bad, man, it throws me off the product and I even swapped for an alternative brand just because of it.

Ordinary retinol
I've been using this for 2 months and I am already starting to see progress. I did have purging for the first 3ish weeks, but during the last week I could see it getting better by the day. I have only had 2 zits in the 3 weeks since purging stopped for me, whereas before I was getting 3-4 a week. I would get mine on my chin and cheeks and not my forehead. I would not suggest putting moisturizer on after. I used snailmucin 96 by cosrx before my retinol, and I would suggest this or another light water based moisturizer, but the squalene is very oily and I find it works as a replacement or oil or cream moisturizers (which I still use on the days when I don't use the retinol) I waited 7 days between my first and second use, then started with once every 5 days, then went to every 4 days, and now I am using it every 3 days.
