You only have to be careful with your hands, but there is also a glove that comes with the product and that protects your hands. The twisting technique is easy to master, I use a temperature of 200C and take a thicker strand to have light curls. If you take a thinner strand you will have regular, straight curls. My curls last a long time, which is not the case with my heavy and straight hair. Definitely a must have, I recommend!
