Prep + Prime Lip Primer

Surprised but pricey. I bought this lip primer on the good reviews and because I often wear lip products. Packaging is very small, and the primer itself is a good size. The substance is very soft, do not press too hard! It slips over my lips and right after you put it on it looks sooo smooth! So a lipstick over that would be best, right? However, yesterday night after the primer NO longer gained lipstick because I went to sleep. Wake up next day with very dry lips with lots of skins. Oh, well, he didn't get out of the test so well. But my test was not an egg either, I really had a lot of skins and I wasn't used to myself. Yet primer and lipstick gained today during the day and it did not help anything. The matte lipstick only made my dry lips more visible. Not a success today but I am convinced it works well when my lips are smoother. All in all, fine primer for your lips but not worth 20 euros. For 20 euros I expect more product and amazing results.

Hi! A while ago, I got MAC's Prep + Prime Lip Primer. I was incredibly curious about this, because I really like MAC. The primer itself smells nice and applies easily to your lips. This is partly because it runs at an angle and therefore moves easily over your lips. Then I let it dry for a while before applying the lipstick. I do this because otherwise I feel like I get so greasy on the lipstick. After applying the lipstick, I went to eat and drink. I had hoped that my lipstick would remain a bit more visible on my lips, so it would be more colored. Unfortunately... a thin, almost colorless, layer remains. Maybe I'm using it incorrectly, but I'm disappointed and wouldn't buy it anytime soon because of this. X

Om eerlijk te zijn, vind ik dit product nogal overbodig. Ik kocht dit, omdat ik dacht dat het mijn lippen, voor het aanbrengen van een liquid lipstick, egaler zou maken. Dit doet de primer wel, maar dit doel bereiken, lukt ook met een simpele lippenbalsem. (Dan wel voor het aanbrengen van de liquid lipstick de lippenbalsem even weg deppen met een tissue) Ik vind dit product dus te duur voor wat het doet. Aangezien een goedkope lippenbalsem hetzelfde resultaat geeft. De lipstick zou langer moeten blijven zitten, bij gebruik van de primer. Hierin merk ik geen verschil.
