OK....
Having skin that's getting older and is drying out but also has oily patches due to hormones etc, I bought this in an attempt to help with balancing it. I thought maybe my skin needed more hydration and that perhaps the oiliness was my skin trying to compensate for the dryness. Unfortunately for me it hasn't been the miracle product I had read about. I find it is a bit too greasy and takes quite a lot of effort to remove properly or you're left with a greasy looking film on your face. Needing to use a cloth to scrub to remove this film has then irritated my skin and caused a lot of redness. It is OK for make up removal, ie foundation etc, but seems to struggle with my mascara (not waterproof) and I usually need to reapply over the eyes with a face cloth to remove it completely. I did read about using the Balm as part of a double cleanse alongside the Fulvic Acid cleanser to remove the residue and have tried this but am not sure the combination is right for me as the Fulvic Acid cleanser is quite drying which defeats the object for me. The other thing I didn't like is that you have to be really careful not to get the product in your hair around your face as it makes it greasy. This is another reason why I felt I needed to remove it so vigorously as if the "film" left by just rinsing came into contact with my fringe and hair above my ears etc, it became greasy very fast and looked like it needed washing even if it was actually clean. That all said, I am going to persevere and try another cleanser alongside as a double cleanse as I like the idea of the nourishing qualities of the balm but we'll see!

Loving this product
Before this was released I have sworn by the Clinique take off the day balm however since trying this I absolutely love it. Doesn't leave a horrible coating on your skin after using it, no horrible smell and doesn't sting or have any adverse effect if you use it around the eye area unlike a few other brands I've tried. I've definitely been converted to this now

Recommend!
The inkey list oat cleansing balm is a really lovely cleanser. It easily gets rid of makeup and spf. It’s lovely and leaves skin feeling clean and soft. It doesn’t irritate sensitive skin either. The only downside is that I think it could feel heavy on some skin types.
