Not what I expected - ethically not recommended

I tried the Moroccanoil Body Night Serum and have mixed feelings about this product. The scent reminds me a lot of men's aftershave, which isn't necessarily unpleasant, because the scent doesn't last long anyway. What I do like is that the serum makes my skin soft and smooth. Unfortunately, I do have to use a lot of product to achieve that effect, so I feel like I'll go through it quickly. Another point that disappointed me is that silicones are the first ingredient. Although the serum feels great on the skin, I personally prefer products without so much silicone. The packaging is sturdy. A glass bottle with a plastic cap. The packaging is finely made so that you can use the product hygienically and in a dosed manner. However, the biggest reason why I would definitely not recommend this product has to do with ethical considerations. Let me say I now understand why morrocanoil is a sponsor at eurovision. So that makes it a no-go for me personally. In short, although it is a nice product in itself, I would certainly not buy it again for ethical reasons. I would like to emphasize that I tested and therefore received this product and did not purchase it myself.
