Dry skin booster from Paula's Choice!

My dry skin... sigh! That pulling and dry feeling after I wash my face... Really not nice!! That's why I bought this booster from Paula's Choice. It has been specially developed for dry skin. At least that's on their website. The package says: for all skin types, but if you have oily skin, I definitely don't recommend it! It's very greasy. The ingredient list mainly consists of oil types. At least for me, this one is ideal! Really the extra boost my skin needs! I suspect my dry skin was caused by weather conditions, such as the cold here in NL and sun exposure. Until I was 25, I never used sunscreen... I know, that's not good. It could also be that my dry skin was created by using products with harmful ingredients, such as alcohol denat... But that's always guessing...! This booster has ceramides and that's very important for the skin. From what I understand, dry skin has damaged the top layer and it consists mainly of ceramides. Just a pity it's at the back of the ingredient list in this booster... The method of use is the same as that of a serum, with a pipette I can apply it by drop. I use max. 3 drops as it is very oily and you can smear it over your face. This booster is not cheap, it costs 37 euros for 20 ml, but if it helps to fix my dry skin, I think it's worth the investment! I'll let you know the long-term effect of this booster...

Review Paula's Choice booster for dry skin!

I have used these regularly over the past few months. It's supposed to boost dry skin. It contains nourishing ingredients such as Argan oil, Ceramides and Jojoba oil. Dry skin benefits greatly from this. There are no irritating ingredients such as perfume, parabens and bad alcohol. Despite the top ingredients, my experience with this wasn't quite great...! According to the instructions, you can use it after your moisturizer, mix it with your serum or use it on its own. So very versatile! I tried all 3 methods. I found it to give a very fat result that I don't like that much. Really true here: less is more!! I also found that it doesn't really penetrate the skin, but remains more on the surface...! He didn't irritate at all, but it was overly greasy. I'd rather use it in the evening than during the day. For very dry skin, this can be a great enrichment. I think I want something different, like something that's not so greasy and my dry skin really recovered instead of just a boost. Should you want to try this, it is now available with 15% discount on the website of Paula's Choice.

I use this booster for very dry and sensitive skin. According to the description, this should add something specific to my skin type, but after a few months I still don't notice any obvious difference from this booster. The fragrance is fine and the texture is also very spreads.
