MAC Retro Matte Lipstick

If you’re looking for a bold red lipstick… then this is definitely the right shade! It weirdly smells of chocolate, Lindor chocolate specifically comes to mind?!  However, it’s very very dry on the lips so if you’re okay with that feeling, then this matte lipstick is perfect for you! I personally don’t like this feeling though

I absolutely love MAC lipsticks, however this one gets the thumbs down for me. The shade is lovely, vibrant and will suit most complexions, however the formula, or matte finish is extremely dry after a hour wear. If you are after a statement lipstick, this is for you but the matte finish is definitely preference.

This is another shade that I bought from the Retro Matte line of liquid lipsticks at MAC. I honestly love the shades, - they are really pigmented - they last for a reasonable time (it starts to wear off when you are eating but drinking is fine, it stays put) - the colours are warm and suits my skintone (which can be a challenge sometimes!) The little downside of this liquid lipstick is that it can be and feel very dry.
