MAC Retro Matte Lipstick

This is another shade that I bought from the Retro Matte line of liquid lipsticks at MAC. I honestly love the shades, - they are really pigmented - they last for a reasonable time (it starts to wear off when you are eating but drinking is fine, it stays put) - the colours are warm and suits my skintone (which can be a challenge sometimes!) The little downside of this liquid lipstick is that it can be and feel very dry.

The “Carnivorous” is the perfect burgundy matte liquid lipstick that I was looking for 😍 I find that it is so hard to get the nice red or burgundy for my skin colour as most brands have those colours but in a cooler shade not for warm skintones. I prefer liquid lipsticks because they hold much longer than classic ones and this range from MAC is really pigmented. It lasts for a reasonable time until you start eating. The downside is that it can be quite dry on the lips

Love the colour of this lipstick! It's one of my fave colours! I do fine though it flakes away from your lips after a while unless you use a gloss over the top which defeats the object of it being a matte finish! It also transfers onto everything! I would probably use this more often if it had a bit more staying power!
