Water-based and doesn't feel like it's caring as a mask. I notice if you let it soak in longer that it does have an effect and makes my highlights a bit more ash-colored. But still, I'm not a fan. The substance is also very watery.

This one works well but could be better, I think it says that it gives your hair that glow, but I think it would fall like it had to leave it in it much longer than that it said on the packaging.

This is great stuff. In combination with your own favorite shampoo, you have good care for ice blonde hair. Mixing with a hair mask is also an equally good option.
