K18 Detox Shampoo

The perfect shampoo to gently remove build up. The shampoo is nice and economical to use. I use the shampoo once a week and gives a good clean result. I use a lot of leave in and hair lotions, so I really appreciate a good detox shampoo. My hair is naturally very dry and this shampoo is mild enough. This is really my ideal shampoo for me and I really recommend it.

The K18 Detox shampoo isn't on the website yet, but this one is definitely worth it! I wash my hair about 1 and sometimes 2 times a week and use a lot of hair oil/leave in creams. Once a week, I use this shampoo that ensures that all the build up of my scalp and hair disappear like snow in the sun. The best part is that it doesn't dry out my hair, which I did have with the ouai detox shampoo and other brands. My hair is smooth and soft after use. I wash my hair with it twice (the first time to wash away all the grease and then really cleanse it) and it really works as described on the website. #mysummeressential

Hi Evies, I started using K18's peptide prep detox shampoo two weeks ago. I ordered a new bottle of K18 leave in mask and decided to order it with it. This shampoo is intended to rid your hair of built-up products in your hair, such as a lot of dry shampoo in my case. The shampoo is “free of parabens, sulfates, silicones, phthalates and artificial colors. The formula contains charcoal and salicylic acid to absorb excess oils and prevent sebum buildup without drying out your hair.” In addition, the shampoo is safe for colored hair, which is very special for a well-cleansing shampoo. You use it by replacing your normal shampoo for this one once a week, so it is not intended to be used every day. On the other days, just use a mild shampoo. You really don't need much of the shampoo, a euro coin is enough! By the way, don't be scared, the shampoo is black;) It foams wonderfully, smells good and is easy to wash out. After using this shampoo, my hair is incredibly soft, shiny and feels very clean. A nice basis to then apply my leave in mask! What I do notice or think is that I have a little more hair loss on the day I use this shampoo. When applying my mask, a lot of hair is already coming off. I myself have all hair that falls out quickly, which is slightly less when using a mild shampoo. But I think these, more aggressive shampoos, make this a bit worse. As indicated, you should only use the shampoo once a week and that it is a good preparation for a leave in mask like the one from K18. The shampoo provides a little more volume and stroke in the hair but not at the hair roots, so only in lengths. For me, certainly a nice shampoo that allows me to really cleanse my hair without affecting my colored strands. C - Female
