Hyalu B5

Having tried a number of different hyaluronic acid products i am seriously impressed with this gem. It comes in a 30ml blue bottle and the HA is quite thick and opaque in colour, but a few drops is all you need and it leaves your skin feeling nourished and hydrated. To get even better results i spray with an essence or misting spray before applying, let the mist dry slightly then apply a few drops of the serum. I then let it sink in for a couple of minutes and then reapply the mist again. This forms a sandwich of moisture which seems to last for most of the day. This has definitely improved the plumpness and hydration in my skin. I am about half way through the bottle and will continue to use this. It is quite an expensive item (RRP around £38) but it is often on offer so you can get it much cheaper. La Roche Posay is a brand that is often recommended by dermatologists and having used other products i can definitely say they are decent quality and produce results.

It is quite sticky. And I haven't noticed a difference yet. My favorite thing about it is the applicator. Feels very sticky on my skin and it's been a month and I can not see any changes yet. I would not recommend this la roche posay product for dark circles.

I am a real fan of LRP products and have used the Hyalu B5 face serum for a while which meant I was really looking forward to using the Eye Serum. I am always honest and have to say I really don’t like this product at all. Firstly, I don’t understand the applicator and found it strange to use. There is either too much or too little in the tube which makes application difficult or messy. Secondly, the consistency is very sticky. I tried numerous days and times to apply with varying amounts of product but each time had to wash it off as my eyelids were sticking. I can’t comment on the efficacy as I didn’t leave it on or use it for long enough to tell. For me, this product and application need reworking. Until then, sadly, it’s a no from me.  #SkincareIsTheBestCare
