Complete Long Hairstylingset

Hi! I've had the dyson airwrap for a while now and I like it. I do find one thing really annoying, I can't really use the airwrap barrel with my hair (I have curly hair of my own). Before I do use it, I want my hair to be smooth, but when it's finally smooth, my hair is already dry. And to use the barrel, they say that your hair must be 80% dry. Then I try to make it a bit wet again, add some mousse and seasalt spray and try to curl my hair with the barrel. I then clip it in for a while so that it can cool down properly, spray some hair spray on it. And of course, the curls fall out after less than 30 minutes. I am so sorry about this. I'm really trying all the tips I see on tiktok. Does anyone else have any tips?
