Double Defence: Onzuiverheden

First of all, the packaging: I love this, a simple package with a “serious” look. Sunscreen is really a MUST in your routine. I've tried a lot of them and this one is definitely nice. This one doesn't give me pimples and the texture is a bit stiffer. So you have to let the layer you put on before and after dry for a while, otherwise that layer will peel a bit. The serum feels good. I still find it difficult to say whether it works, I think you should use it for a longer period of time. In short: - sunscreen is a hit! 8.5 - After a month of use, I don't see any changes but smell and feels good so for now, I'm still optimistic and give it a 7.

I've been using the skinceuticals double defense duo for about 4 weeks now. I waited a little longer to post a review because I wanted to give my honest opinion. I use the spf cream during the day and the serum in the evening. What I especially had to get used to with the spf cream is that the texture is thicker than I'm used to from my own spf. But after 2-3 days, I got used to this and I actually really like it. Especially now during the cold days, I really had the feeling that my skin was well protected against UV rays, etc. I apply the serum every evening, and 4 drops as recommended is indeed more than enough. By the way, I really don't like the smell of the serum. Anyway, as long as it works, you won't hear me complaining... and indeed, the duo really works. After the first week, I immediately noticed a difference, because I had done a fruit acid peel a week before that had been quite intense. As soon as possible, I immediately started using this duo and my skin began to calm down, much smoother, impurities began to disappear. After 4 weeks, I dare say that I really fully support recommending this product to someone else.

I really liked this duo's serum! I used this product daily during my morning routine, 4 drops were enough. What I noticed most was that my skin looked much smoother after a while and pores were very much reduced. Because of this, my makeup was really flawless! The only downside of the serum was the scent, which was very strong and I also continued to smell good on my hands afterwards. The UV protective cream had a somewhat thicker texture for me since I normally use a very thin primer with SPF, so this took some getting used to. Besides that, it is a great cream that does not make your skin greasy.
