❌🚨☠️⚠️🚩🚫❗
I've never given a product 1 star, but this one deserves it. This is the most terrible shampoo I've ever used. It sounds so good: “super hydrating”, while nothing has dried out my scalp as much as this shampoo. I naturally have dry skin and hair, but it's easy to manage with the right products. And it's pretty nice that I've only had to wash my hair once a week for years, it doesn't usually get really greasy. But this shampoo has so unbalanced my scalp that I got dry skin flakes, which my scalp wanted to compensate for and I got slightly oily hair after washing on day 2. I've never experienced that since the cheap Kruidvat products I used as a child! Besides my scalp, my hair wasn't happy about it either. It was dry, burnt fast and my waves turned into weird I don't know what shape to take. But maybe my hair just had to get used to it? I just came back from vacation, the shower water is different in the Netherlands, you can't say much after 1 use.. So I didn't change my hair routine and washed my hair once a week with this shampoo. Then, in all desperation, it started to fall out too! I have long hair so you notice it when you suddenly lose a lot more hair than usual. This was a hell of a lot. It doesn't stop here. Even for oily hair and a scalp that can handle everything, I wouldn't recommend this. The shampoo is not pleasant to use, it does not foam and is therefore difficult to distribute. The perfume it contains smells rather musty and cheap. And it's not even a cheap product.. I sent a nice email to Coco&Eve customer service and the response was “I should go to the store where I bought it”. No sincere apologies, no help, nothing. As a result, I would not only recommend this product, but the entire Coco&Eve brand. I really don't have a good word for this.
