I had been seeing a lot of love for Heimish skincare and cosmetics but hadn't tried them yet so I was excited to get the opportunity to choose some complimentary products to test and review. I needed a new moisturiser and chose this Bulgarian Rose Satin Cream. Let's start with the packaging- it's beautiful. Open the soft touch box, in a soft, muted pink with rose gold accents, to unveil a gorgeous clear pot which reveals a subtle, elegant shimmery inner layer and a matte lid. It looks so stylish and pretty on my shelf. And so to the cream itself. It has a light, fresh natural rose scent which I absolutely love. The ever so slightly pink tinted cream is silky smooth and has a light, buttery texture. It feels so cooling and soothing on my skin, and massages in so nicely, leaving my skin feeling satin soft, beautifully hydrated and with a nice, subtle glow. Sometimes I find moisturisers can be great while wearing them but they don't always offer longer term benefits in the way other skincare products do but when I didn't use it for a day, I could still see and feel the improvement in my skin. I then used it twice daily for a week and didn't use for a few days to see how long the benefits lasted, and was so impressed that my skin still felt soft, supple and hydrated several days later.
