Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Serum

The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% is an affordable vitamin C derivative serum formulated to brighten skin and reduce the signs of aging. It is in a water-based formula, so it is lightweight and comfortable on the skin. As long as you don’t use too much, it isn’t excessively sticky or tacky on the skin, and since it is oil-free, it isn’t greasy. It works well with other skincare products. Plus, it has no added fragrances, so you don’t have to worry about skin sensitivity from the scent. While I love the fact that you can use it twice a day, both in your morning and evening. I haven’t seen drastic improvements in hyperpigmentation on my face, but the fact that it provides antioxidant protection and fights free radicals while also being gentle enough to use every day without causing irritation is enough reason for me to continue using this product.

I really like this product, I use it every other night, alternating with the ordinary retinol. Small spots and imperfections disappear. I had a very small wart under my eye that I actually wanted to have removed, but this serum made it disappear by itself! I think that's really magical. And of course, I am very happy about that. So I would highly recommend this product, but I can imagine that it may not be suitable for every skin. I myself have a drier skin, but it may have something in terms of products, etc. For sensitive skin, I can imagine that the product is a little too intense.
