Does what it needs to do
My entire facial care routine now consists of The Ordinary products. This is one of my last acquisitions. Deciem's website says that this serum is mainly for hydration, supporting healthy skin and skin repair. I was looking for a hydrator to complement the morning hyaluronic acid that is less full than a real oil or squalane so I'm not super shiny. And that's exactly what this does. I like it a great product, it absorbs quickly and does what it needs to do. I have a combination skin with a lot of redness and blemishes, but also a lot of dry lines.

Can't be missing from my routine
Gives my dry skin (known as acne) a good boost. I use it every other day and then mix it with the Niacinamide powder from The ordinary. Works really nice!

Amino Acids + B5 serum van The Ordinary ☁️
For several months I use the Amino Acids + B5 serum from The Ordinary daily and twice a day. Personally, I have acne-prone dry skin. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this serum... I still have some spots or scars due to acne. And unfortunately, I don't notice much difference in that since I use it. It doesn't help me to get a nice, even skin. With some serums, I noticed that spots disappeared faster, but that is not the case now. The smell is neutral and it feels a bit greasy after applying. It absorbs quickly and is easy to use due to the pipette. Furthermore, it was not nice to use in the beginning. But after a few times, the stinging sensation stopped. Now I notice that my skin is well hydrated. My skin is also soft and firmer. For hydration, it is a good serum and it keeps my acne-prone skin calm.
