All Clean Balm

I really like this cleansing balm. It melts beautifully into my skin and removes all my skin care and make-up well. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star review is that it does take some work to remove mascara. I follow this with another gel or cream cleanser for my double cleanse and my skin is left happy and hydrated.

For a few months now, I've discovered K-beauty products, including this Heimish cleaning balm. I use this balm as the first step in cleaning my face. It lubricates very nicely, has a handy splash in the pot and after rinsing, my skin feels clean but not dry. In addition, the price for such a large pot is also very attractive. Definitely my favorite cleaning balm.

As I wrote in my previous post, I've been switching to a Korean skincare routine for a few months now. Where double Cleansing is super important. My evening routine therefore starts with the Oil based cleanser. I really like this Heimish cleansing balm! With the spatula on the lid, I scoop a small amount and warm it up between my hands. The balm melts really easily between your hands and I apply it to my dry face (all makeup on). This balm cleanses your face very well, removes all makeup super easily. I massage the balm into my skin, then I wet my hands with water and massage my face again with my wet hands, the reaction to the water on the oil based cleanser is an emulsion, you get a type of soft foam on your skin. And I then rinse this off under the tap. So a top cleanser does smell - you get used to this very quickly - top first step (of double cleansing) TIP: Wash your hands (and (under your nails)) thoroughly before starting your skincare!!! Makes a big difference, you don't want to use your hands and nails with lots of bacteria in your skincare!!
