It protected my hair color, which is a huge bonus for me. However, it didn't provide much volume, and it might not be ideal for those with oily hair. Overall, I'd recommend it for dry, damaged, or color-treated hair. I wet my hair, applied a generous amount, lathered it up, and rinsed it off. I followed up with a conditioner and styled my hair as usual. If you're looking for a shampoo that will give you loads of volume, this might not be the one for you. Foams well, so you don’t need to use a lot. Makes your hair feel clean and lightweight and paired with the conditioner is nicely hydrating for dry hair. My hair has dry ends and damage from colour and this conditioner does not dry it further or lead to tangling
